This is what I do after work.
Travel
I'm a great enthusiatist of traveling, especially in nature. I love to plan road trips and visit national parks. Grand Teton NP is my favorite park in the states. Outside the US, Jasper NP (Canada) and Scottish Highlands (UK) are fantastic. And of course, my home town, Taipei, Taiwan. From Taipei, you could easily access the Yangmingshan national park featuring great volcanic geological landscape, visit historic towns along the railroad, or view spectacular rocky seashore within an hour, all with public transportation. (I have yet mentioned the amazing food!) Short term goal: Zion National Park. Really want to do the Angels Landing Trail!
Sports
Sports is the biggest part of me outside working. I play lots of sports. I was on my departmental table tennis team from 2010 to 2017 and I led the team as the captain in 2013. We played tournaments over many cities in Taiwan and won several champs. I play badminton and squash with my friends at Hopkins frequently and occasionally play some basketball and softball. I also watch lots of sports. I've been a fan for Boston Red Sox and Dallas Mavericks for more than a decade. After moving to Baltimore, I started watching the Ravens.
